COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – The Columbus Police Department is investigating at least four home burglaries that happened Thursday morning in north Columbus.

Kenny Hull with CPD says the burglaries, which occurred within an hour of another, were also in close proximity of one another.

Police said one home on Bridlewood Drive, two homes on Jamestown Drive and one on Potomac Circle were burgled on Thursday, and the first call came in around 10 a.m.

Hull did not confirm what was taken from each home, but says that an AR-15 weapon was stolen from one of the homes.

The suspects are described as four black males, traveling in a silver four-door sedan.

You are asked to call 911 immediately if you come in contact with or spot these suspects.

This is a developing story; check back for more updates.
