COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Jumping high at Columbus' Launch Trampoline park can be thrilling for many, but it can also be over-stimulating for many children with autism and other special needs.
Now Launch plans to welcome families for a special event next Thursday, Aug. 4 to help make jumping fun for everyone.
The VIP time will include low noise and lighting, something that often eases children with special needs, as well as extra trained staff on duty.
"It's a way to give some of these special needs kids an opportunity to do something they rarely get to do, and that was come to a place like this that Columbus hadn't had, and kind of be able to first of all create a safe environment for them," said owner Jimmy Fullerton.
The event will run from 6 to 8 p.m. and is $10, which includes one parent or guardian.
