Kissin for Kids RadioThon to benefit CMN now underway

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Put your money where the miracles are!

The Kissin for Kids RadioThon to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network at Midtown Medical Center is underway.

Kissin 99.3 FM is broadcasting live from the lobby of the Medical Center on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Bear O'Brian, a radio personality at Kissin' 93.3, explains why this cause is so important.

"The smallest child that's in the NICU right now is one pound, 11 ounces," O'Brian said. "When you see a child that small fighting so hard for life, knowing that it's funds from Children's Miracle Network that keeps the technology going and all the equipment it needs to help those children, 30 years ago a child that small, I don't think there was much hope."

You can call 706-320-8882 or 1-888-320-8882 on both days from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. to make a pledge, or drop it by the hospital.

Money raised stays locally to help sick children.
