COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A local school has announced a new partnership that will allow students to earn college credit while still in high school.
St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School is partnering with Columbus State University to expand the Move on When Ready dual enrollment program.
The school will begin offering Social Studies courses with CSU this school year.
Officials say while the work from the courses is tough, it will pay off for students in the long run.
"College level is different, it's a lot of different types of learning and so they're getting used to that so they can make a really smooth transition to college in the next few years," said President Ronie Colllins.
The school will continue to offer English dual enrollment courses through Georgia Military College, and has added Math dual enrollment courses to its GMC offerings.
