COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Fall's just around the corner, and there will be plenty of things to do in Uptown Columbus during the coming months.

Uptown Columbus Inc. held a press conference Thursday, where they unveiled the entire lineup of events held this fall in this area.

The Friday night series returns this year with a beach party on Broadway on Friday, Sept. 16.

The Uptown Beer and Wine Festival also takes place on Monday, Oct. 24, while Uptown's Food Truck Festival will be held Saturday, Nov. 12.

“Uptown has really transformed in the last 30 years, and we are continuing to bring new fresh events,” said Rebecca Zajac, VP of Marketing. “We aren’t recreating the wheel, we are finding out what is working in booming cities like Greenville, Charleston, or even Savannah.”
