COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The youngest suspect in a brutal triple murder was scheduled for a court appearance in Columbus on Friday but waived his arraignment hearing.
Rufus Burks, 16, is accused of killing Gloria Short, her son Caleb, and granddaughter Gianna Lindsey.
Their bodies were found in Short's Upatoi home in January. Burks will be arraigned in Superior Court at 9 a.m.
He faces six counts of murder, as do the other two suspects, Javarceay Tapley and Raheam Gibson.
