COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – On Saturday, both engaged and married couples had a fun during an event held by the Pastoral Institute.

The fifth annual Marriage Chase in Uptown Columbus drew in nearly 100 couples.

The couples participated in different events to help bring them closer than ever.

Some events included paddle boarding, an obstacle course, and a flight simulator.

Directors of the event say this is a great way for couples to create memories.

"Today's event is all about couples having fun and bonding together and creating memories and even creating memories. It's really about them creating a sense of identity for them as a couple together,” director of Right from the State Jonathan Herston said.

Each couple had the chance to walk away with some amazing prizes in each event held.
