Job fairs coming to Columbus on Sept. 14

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - If you or anyone you know is looking for a job, you're in luck. Two job fairs are coming to the Fountain City on Wednesday, Sept. 14.

Randstad USA will host a job fair from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Goodwill Career Center on Cross Country Drive off Macon Road.

They are looking for forklift operators, material handlers, and inventory clerks.

Unemployment Eliminators LLC's job fair will be held at the Columbus Convention and Trade Center at 801 Front Avenue from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Whether you are a veteran, transitioning military, student, recent graduate or someone just looking for employment, you are welcome to participate.

Job seekers will have the opportunity to meet with employers that they might not be able to access any other way.

The fair is free to attend and open to the public.

Dress for Success - Attend the job fair as if you were going to a scheduled interview. Wear comfortable shoes as you may be standing in line

Be Prepared - Bring extra copies of your resume, pens and notepaper. Be ready to summarize your skills. Be enthusiastic and ask questions

Network - Stop at each booth. Talk to the representatives and see what they have to offer and let them know what you are looking for. Always keep your options open. You never know who might be able to help you with your job search.
