COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Lawmakers and other community leaders met Thursday to discuss how to further Georgia's technology industry.
The Technology Association of Georgia was on hand at Delta Data on 6th Avenue in Columbus.
The town hall served as a way to talk about critical issues and policies which are important to the emerging technology communities in the state.
Tina Mantella, president of TAG, says they hope to make Georgia a top competitor in the technology industry.
"We live and breathe by getting the community involve by hearing and input and our ultimate goal is to make Georgia a top five state in technology," Mantella said.
Senators Josh McKoon and Ed Harbison were in attendance, among others.
The TAG Columbus Chapter includes more than 1,000 individual and organizational members.
