COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Pro-life supporters in Columbus honored the lives of aborted babies.
The local gathering for National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children was held Saturday.
Supporters of all faiths and backgrounds held a service at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church off Torch Hill Road.
The first National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children was held in September 2013.
Organizations holding vigils across the country say they want to remember the almost 60 million babies that have been aborted since the Supreme Court ruled in Roe v. Wade that women have the right to an abortion.
