CHAMBERS COUNTY, AL (WTVM) - The Chambers Co. Sheriff's Office says they've made an arrest in the Sept. 5 discovery of a man found dead in his home.
On Sept. 5, the Chambers County Sheriff's Office responded to a residence in the 33000 block of U.S. Hwy 431 on a welfare check. Deputies discovered David Heard dead with multiple gunshot wounds.
On Sept. 14, Cordamione Decornez Cameron, 22, of LaGrange, GA was taken into custody at a residence in LaGrange, GA in connection with the homicide.
Cameron is currently being held at the Troup County Detention Facility awaiting extradition to Chambers County. Cameron will be charge with capital murder, first-degree robbery, and first-degree burglary.
