OPELIKA, AL (WTVM) - In a showing of solidarity, Opelika High School students took time out of a pep rally to show their supports for two students battling childhood cancer.
During a pep rally on Friday night, Opelika High faculty and students honored Carly Parker and Lexi Burdell— taking a stand against childhood cancers.
A viewer wrote the WTVM newsroom saying, "THIS deserves the upmost recognition. I have never been so proud to be a part of something special."
And to that, we couldn't agree more!
