COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A man was arrested and made his first court appearance in Columbus on Monday after allegedly recording a woman while she was in a business's private restroom on Saturday, according to a Columbus Police Department arrest report.
The report says Hunter Bramlett, 22, was caught by the victim inside a private stall of the women's restroom at Barnes and Nobel, located at 5555 Whittlesey Blvd. in Columbus on Saturday. Brackett was allegedly recording or taking photographs of the victim while she was in the stall.
The victim caught Bramlett in the act and he escaped and left the area after he was confronted by the victim's boyfriend.
Bramlett was later arrested and charged with eavesdropping, surveillance, interception communication and criminal trespass.
Bramlett appeared in recorder's court on Monday and given a $10,500 bond. He is currently being held at the Muscogee County Jail.
