Residents report issues at The Ralston

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Residents of more than a century old building on 12th St. in Uptown Columbus say bed bugs and elevator issues have created quite the headache.

News Leader Nine spoke with multiple residents at The Ralston— a low-income housing building for the elderly and disabled. They say the elevators are now up and running, but have been spotty.

One man says managers had his room cleaned after he reported bed bugs, but had to skimp on food to save money to replace the bedding he had to throw out due to the infestation.

Managers at the Miracle Mile Realty group who oversee the building have not yet returned our message asking for a comment.
