COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – A 105-year-old Columbus resident casted her vote in this year's Presidential election on Friday.
Erris Croom, a resident of Covenant Woods Retirement Community, made her pick with her absentee ballot.
Croom has voted in every Presidential election since 1932, when she voted for Franklin D. Roosevelt. Her favorite President was Ronald Reagan.
Croom keeps up with the election by watching Fox News and jobs are the most important political issue for her.
"I think we need jobs brought back to this country. Maybe they were not big paying jobs, but people made a living and they supported their families," Croom says.
Erris Croom was born in 1911, when William Howard Taft was the president.
