COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – The Georgia Welcome Center in Columbus is officially open again for business.
The facility on Williams Rd. closed in December and underwent a $900,000 renovation inside and out.
The reopening ceremony happened at 8:30 Friday morning.
Welcome center manager Lativia Rivers says she's ready to welcome visitors with open arms.
No taxpayer dollars were used for the renovations. The money came from revenues generated by the Georgia LOGO program.
