2016 Greater Columbus Fair open through Nov. 2

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – The all new Greater Columbus Fair is coming starting on Oct. 26 until Nov. 2 on the grounds of South Commons at the Columbus Civic Center.

Kissel Entertainment is the fair’s brand new carnival provider. They were built on more than 70 years and four generations in the Carnival industry. It has been a leader in the carnival industry for many years.

Through Kissel Entertainment the fair will showcase a full-service midway, complete with exciting kiddie rides, family rides, thrill rides and spectacular rides, plus games and food.

More attractions include the Tennessee Valley Petting Zoo, Circus Incredible, Monster Truck Rides, pumpkin patch, free daily entertainment and much more.

Also, for the first time in many years, the Exchange Club Hot Dog stand will be back and select food vendors will be open weekdays from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. for lunch.

The fair will be open from Monday until Thursday starting at 5 p.m. until 11 p.m., Friday from 5 p.m. until midnight, Saturday from 1 p.m. until midnight, and Sunday from 1 p.m. until 10 p.m.from

    CHATTAHOOCHEE CO., GA (WTVM) - The Chattahoochee County Water Department has issued a "boil water" notice in the "Old City Limits" area. The advisory was issued due to a system disruption Sunday. County officials say the water system is back up, however, the advisory must remain in effect as part of protocol. No other issues with the water system is expected.
