Case continued in stabbing of Columbus man at homeless transition house

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A Columbus man accused of stabbing another man is expected in court for the first time. 

Officers say Felton Davis, Jr. stabbed a man three times on Oct. 28. 

Investigators say Davis and the man - whose name has not been release - got into an argument at Job's House on Fifth Avenue. 

Job's House is an organization that helps the homeless transition into society. 

Davis was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. Davis appeared in recorder's court on Tuesday, where an officer testified that the victim was still hospitalized and unable to be interviewed. 

The case was continued to another date until the victim could testify. 

The victim is at Midtown Medical Center in stable condition.
