11 more student-athletes sign national letters of intent Thursday

(WTVM) - It was a busy day for college signings on Wednesday, as 11 area athletes from three high schools accepted athletic scholarships.

At Auburn there were three Division I signings. Rowdy Jordan signed to play baseball at Mississippi State, while teammate Trey Woodham is heading to Mercer. Susanna Pudner signed a cross country/track scholarship with South Alabama.

Central High's Teyah Johnson and Kayla Vance both signed to play basketball at Savannah State, while Kirstine Smith will play softball at CVCC.

Columbus High had five athletes sign, three for softball and two for golf. Raleigh Williams will play softball a Kennesaw State, Marlisa Scott at Jackson State, and Erin Smith at Young Harris.

Nolan Miller will continue his golfing career at Mercer, while Daniel Davis will head to Georgia College.
