COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – The Columbus Airport will observe the statewide water restrictions put in place Thursday.
The Environment Protection Division declared a level two drought in 52 counties in Georgia, but Muscogee County was listed as a level one drought.
The airport commission will implement a two day per week landscape watering plan and will monitor leaking or running faucets at terminals and on the airfield.
The EPD restrictions prevent the non-commercial washing of vehicles. The airport commission will suspend all non-commercial aircraft washing.
