COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – You can call it a spectacular Christmas tradition, the Ludy family is once again decorating their home and yard for Christmas.

The display of Christmas lights began on Thanksgiving night and will run until New Year’s Day from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. The Ludy home is located in the Cottonwood Plantation Subdivision on the 5700 block of Ironstone Dr. in Columbus.

Be sure to tune your car radio to 90.1 FM to listen to the music that is synchronized with the lights.

Each year the Ludy family of Columbus hosts the event to benefit Make-A-Wish Georgia. The family hopes to raise more than $10,000 to help grant wishes to the children of Columbus. You can help the cause by making a donation at the Ludy family house where they have a donation box set up.

In 2014, the Ludy's competed on ABC's "The Great Christmas Light Fight" for a chance to win $50,000.
