CPD locates missing vehicle connected to 83-year-old woman's death

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Columbus police confirmed that the car belonging to an elderly woman found dead in her home was located late Monday.

Peggy Gamble, 83, was found dead at her 8th Street home on Monday. Police are investigating her death as a homicide, but would not indicate how she died. 

According to police, the suspect left the scene in Gamble's car. Police also did not indicate where her car was located, only to say it was intact. 

Police have not named a suspect at this time.
