COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – The United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley is in the final stretch of its donations campaign as they hosted the final meeting of the year Friday.
They say even though they are doing well, they are still in need of whatever donations people can give.
"This is a call to action. The Campaign is in good shape. We have no doubt that we will meet our goal, but we need the communities support to do so. So this is a call to action asking those in the community who want to donate that maybe haven't already to make a call on the United Way and offer your support for our programs," said Keith Pierce, United Way 2016 Campaign Chair
The United Way takes donations for a number of programs including helping sick and disabled kids.
