Lane closure underway on Talbotton Rd. due to widening project

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM ) - The road widening project is underway near Talbotton Road in Columbus.

The project is expected to last until Friday, Dec, 16 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

There will be a lane closure near the corner of Center Street and Talbotton Road to install a sewer line.

Construction of a concrete wall continues between 28th Street and Slade Drive.

When the construction is complete, Talbotton and Warm Springs Roads will go from two lanes to four lanes.
