COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The Columbus area Habitat for Humanity dedicated a house built for a local family just in time for the holiday season.
Habitat for Humanity along with local churches and Brookstone High School joined forces to help this family improve their lives.
The family was able to cut the ribbon on the new four-bedroom, two-bathroom house Thursday afternoon.
The program called "Building on Faith" chooses families based on need, size and income.
These new homeowners say they are grateful for the help, especially ahead of the Christmas season.
Construction on the house started in September.
The house was also blessed, and the family was presented a Bible.
