COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The Chattahoochee Valley Chapter of the House of Heroes is wrapping gifts to benefit veterans.
Volunteers will be wrapping presents at Peachtree mall until 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
More than 100 volunteers will be wrapping presents for shoppers and 100 percent of the net proceeds benefit veterans in our community.
"We want everyone to bring out their gifts and get them wraps and there is still room for volunteers especially on Christmas Eve so we do want people to come out," said Sam Shemame, a volunteer.
On average, the House of Heroes raises $10,000 which helps pay for repairs to six veterans' homes.
