(WTVM) - It's been three months since the murder of 23-year-old Columbus store owner Vastal Patel in November.
Now, for the first time, family members are speaking out after two arrests were made in the case.
"They cannot bring Vastal back. There is nothing in the world who can bring Vastal back to us. This incident has destroyed this family, but, I am thankful that they have caught these men, and another family in the future will not have to suffer in the hands of these men," said sister-in-law Judi Patel.
Judi Patel reflected on the life and legacy of her brother-in-law, whose life was tragically cut short. Patel says she hopes justice is served soon.
"He had so much to offer this world, and it was cut short, over nothing. They got nothing, and I do feel they have to pay for this," said Patel.
Dominique Collins, 18, and Jalontaye Cleveland, 18, are charged in Vastal's murder.
Additionally, an arrest warrant has been issued for 26-year-old Courtney Williams of Stewart County, GA in connection to the murder.
Collins was apprehended in Kentucky and brought back to Columbus on Monday night. He is scheduled to appear in Recorder's Court on Thursday, Feb. 9 at 9 a.m.
Cleveland is scheduled to appear in Recorder's Court on Friday, Feb. 10 at 9 a.m.
