COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – The Exchange Club of Columbus hosted an all you can eat Pancake Jamboree Saturday to raise money for service projects in the community.
The Pancake Jamboree was held at the Shrine Club offices on Edgewood Rd. For six dollars, people were served all you can eat pancakes, sausage, hot cocoa, and coffee was served.
"I think that this is the best crowd of customers and people that we have had in three years. The weather is agreeable we have had a lot of publicity our members has sold tickets and the community has just supported us 100% this year it has just been a great day," said Betty Lindsey, Chairman of the Pancake Jamboree.
The Exchange Club has been serving the community for over 70 years with a focus on projects that support child abuse prevention, Americanism, and our youth.
The Exchange Club meets at the St. Luke Ministry Center in uptown Columbus most Thursday's at 11:30 a.m.
