Thunder in the Valley Air Show tickets now available for purchase

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Tickets to the Thunder in the Valley Air Show are now available for purchase online and at a variety of local retail outlets. This year, the air show is celebrating “20 Years of Thunder” at the Columbus Airport April 8-9. 

Advance tickets are $10 per person, and $8 each for military personnel.  All tickets are $15 on the day of the show. Admission is free for children ages six and under. 

Attendees will enjoy a variety of military, modern, and vintage aircraft. Performers include airshow pilots Skip Stewart, Matt Younkin, and Gary Ward. The U.S. Army Silver Wings Demonstration Team will open the air show each day by delivering the American flag. 

The air show will also include displays of engaging attractions such as the Rise Above Traveling Exhibit, a mobile theater that will educate on the history of the Tuskegee Airmen, a kids’ carnival, and helicopter, and airplane rides.

Local ticket outlets accept cash only. Military discount tickets are sold only through MWR Tickets and Travel at Fort Benning.
