COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – The Georgia State House is approving a fiscal budget which includes a $2.5 million construction project on the campus of Columbus State University.
The 2018 state spending plan, approved this week, includes $2 million for equipment for the new lab sciences addition at LeNoir Hall.
$500,000 will go to renovations on Schwob Memorial Library.
The proposal will now move to the Senate for approval before it reaches Governor Deal's desk.
The construction for LeNoir Hall already has been approved, and the university will break ground on the addition in a couple of months.
