COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Columbus police have arrested a man on charges of child exploitation.
Timothy Turner, 28, was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 21 around 12:30 p.m.
Turner was arrested for five counts of sexual exploitation of children.
Major Gil Slouchik with the Columbus Police Department says Turner works as an Emergency 911 Communications Technician and has been employed there for a year and a half.
Turner also was an employee at WTVM for two months in early 2009.
He is expected to appear in Recorder's Court on Thursday, Feb. 23 at 9 a.m.
