Opelika PD searching for credit card fraud suspect

OPELIKA, AL (WTVM) -

The Opelika Police Department needs your help identifying a suspect who used a fraudulent debit card. 

On Friday, Feb. 3 at approximately 4:20 p.m. CDT, the suspect entered Best Buy at Tiger Town and purchased a large amount of merchandise using a fraudulent card. 

The same suspect then entered the ABC Store located on Frederick Road and purchased a large amount alcohol using the same card.

The suspect is described as a light skinned black male approximately 30-40 years old, standing approximately six feet tall in height and weighing approximately 225 pounds. 

He was last seen wearing a black shirt, a white under shirt and black pants.  He is bald or had a very low haircut and was wearing eyeglasses.  He may also have had a thin goatee.  He left both places in a grey or charcoal colored 2007-2012 Chevrolet Tahoe.
