Columbus gas station sells lottery ticket worth more than $1M

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Someone in Columbus is a millionaire after purchasing the winning ticket for Saturday's lottery drawing.

The ticket was sold in Columbus for more than $1 million dollars, but no one has come forward to claim the prize.

A top prize winning ticket for the Fantasy Five lottery was sold in Columbus at the Circle K on 2nd avenue.

The numbers from that winning ticket were 7-12-15-27-28.

It isn't known if that ticket was purchased by a Georgia resident, however, the Georgia Lottery Corporation is just waiting for someone to come forward to claim their prize.

Prizes over $600 must be claimed at the Georgia Lottery Headquarters in Atlanta or any Georgia Lottery district office.

There is a district office in Columbus located at 2517 Airport Thruway.
