COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Chick-fil-A workers will soon be saying "My Pleasure" at a new location in Columbus.
Construction for a new restaurant is going on at 2730 Manchester Expy.
A ground-breaking ceremony will be held Tuesday, Mar. 7 at 10 a.m. and is slated to open summer 2017.
The new stand-alone Chick-fil-A restaurant will feature an upgraded interior along with the chain's latest interior and kitchen design that will add to the overall customer experience plus a drive-thru service.
The restaurant will also have free Wi-Fi and an indoor play area that features an interactive section for toddlers.
Columbus franchise owner Alex Vann says he plans to hire 150 team members when the restaurant opens.
Chick-fil-A will celebrate the grand opening of the Manchester Expy. location by giving away a one-year supply of free Chick-fil-A meals to the first 100 adults in line on opening day.
