7th annual Camellia Show at The Columbus Museum

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – If you are looking for something to get you into the spirit of the upcoming spring season, The Columbus Museum is the place to be.

The Chattahoochee Valley Camellia Society's 7th annual Camellia Show is happening this weekend.

The show will continue Sunday from 1-3 p.m.

A total of 928 flowers were presented to more than 20 judges where the best went away with awards.

The categories growers were judged on included novice all the way up to expert.

"This was another great show ... We have over 900 blooms and we have people bringing these blooms to the show from all over the south," said Sam Wellborn, Camellia Show Chairperson.

The show brought people from Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and South Carolina
