Third suspect arrested; 2 wanted in connection to 5 Corner Lotto murder

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – A third arrest has been made in connection to the 5 Corner Lotto murder that killed 23-year-old Vastal Patel.

Joshua Tucker, 17, was arrested and charged with murder and aggravated assault.

On Nov. 6, 2016 police were called to the 5 Corner Lotto Murder located at 1231 Linwood Blvd regarding a shooting. 

Officers discovered two victims, Vastal Patel and his father Gautamkumar Patel. Vastal passed away that night and his father was rushed into surgery and survived. 

Two other suspects were arrested including 18-year-old Dominique Collins and 18-year-old Jalontaye Cleveland. 

The investigation has also led to two other arrest warrants including 26-year-old Courtney Williams and 30-year-old Kimberly Huffman. 

Williams and Huffman are considered armed and dangerous. Please call 911 or (706) 225-4291 if you have any information about these suspects. 

Tucker’s first court appearance is scheduled for March 8 at 9 a.m.
