Third 5 Corner Lotto murder suspect admits to being at the scene; says he didn't shoot anyone

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – The third suspect arrested in connection to the 5 Corner Lotto murder appeared in court Wednesday.

Joshua Cook, 17, was arrested and charged with murder and aggravated assault.

The officer shared details of an interview he conducted with Tucker, who admitted to being at the 5 Corner Lotto Store in November, but says he didn't shoot anyone.

"The law says you cannot convict someone based on their statement. That is not enough evidence. Because there are a lot reasons especially when people are being interrogated," said Tucker's attorney Mark Shelnutt.

The case was bound over to Superior Court where a judge could set bond.

Officers say they're also looking for two other suspects in the case Kimberly Huffman and Courtney Williams.

Two other men are already facing murder charges.
