FORT BENNING, GA (WTVM) - As spring approaches, many may be feeling extra symptoms on top of their allergies.
A combination of pollen during allergy season and some occasional smoke which can create a world of symptoms, according to medical professionals
"A lot of kids are coming in with itchy eyes, runny nose, sore throat and all of those things which go along with allergies," said Medical Director and Pediatric Doctor Pediatric Acute Care Dana Cason. "For those with asthma, this time of the year is especially tough for them."
Cason said usual remedies used for allergies can be used if you experience symptoms.
"The antihistamines which will help with that runny nose and the extra stuff in the throat," said Cason. "If they start having a fever is when you should worry."
