COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – A man has been arrested in connection to a shooting Thursday night at the Eagles Trace Apartments.

The shooting happened at around 6:30 p.m. Thursday inside an apartment at Eagles Trace Apartments at 2001 Torch Hill Rd., hitting a female in the leg. We do not know the extent of the victim's injuries.

Robert Craig, 40, has been arrested and charged with discharging a weapon in the city and for obstruction of an officer.

Sherry Hourel, 50, was also arrested in the case for obstruction of an officer. According to a police report, Hourel knowingly lied to police about the shooting in an attempt to hinder the investigation.
