MCSD launches new website; funds for autism center approved

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The Muscogee County School District's website will be soon getting a facelift.

On Tuesday, school board members discussed the launch of the new website which will take place Wednesday.

Board members say the website will be more accessible and more user and device friendly for students and their parents.

"This Is a major task, as you might imagine I appreciate when I had a few things I want it to be, something that's easy to access, user-friendly, clean, I want something that's very clean looking and responsive and interactive and I think the team has done a tremendous job,” said Dr. David Lewis, the Muscogee County School District’s Superintendent.

The board also approving authorization to fund the budget for the Autism Center at Double Churches Middle School and the purchasing budget for the Plant Services Department.
