Zeal restaurant opens on Veterans Pkwy.

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – A new restaurant has opened just blocks away from the Uptown area in Columbus.

Zeal, focuses on international comfort foods ranging from Italian, Indian, and Asian.

The restaurant is located in the Howard Johnson Inn and Suites at 1011 Veterans Pkwy.

Like the name “Zeal” they like to do everything with a passion and even have a full bar.

“We have an intimate atmosphere. it's inviting, it’s very welcoming. we hope that customers are comfortable. That's what we try to create a nice, friendly atmosphere where people can experience fine dining at a reasonable cost," said General Manager Devin Bhatt.

Zeal’s hours are Monday-Saturday 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.

    An unknown driver took scrambled, scattered and covered to a whole new level at an Opelika waffle house. This is a photo of the Waffle House on Fox Run Parkway where a car drove into the side of the building earlier today. The manager has confirmed the location is closed for the time being but no word of when the restaurant will reopen. Authorities have not released any information on any possible injuries.
