CPD searches for murder suspect in connection to Wilson Homes deadly shooting

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Columbus police are searching for a man in connection to the Wilson Homes deadly shooting.

Police are searching for 28-year-old Adrian Pollard who is described as weighing 145 pounds, 5'6" tall with a "death before dishonor" tattoo on his chest. 

On March 24, 2017, around  5:39 p.m. Columbus Police Department Patrol Units were called to the 317 building of Wilson Apartments in reference to a shooting.

Upon their arrival, they located the victim, Maurice Mcghee, suffering from a gunshot wound. Mcghee was transported to the Midtown Medical Center ER where he passed away.

Homicide Units were called to the scene and assumed the investigation which led to warrants for murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime obtained for Pollard.
