COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Columbus Lions kicker Lindsey Wolfe was named the National Arena League's Special Teams Player of the Week, it was announced by the league office on Wednesday.

Wolfe was near-perfect versus the Corpus Christi Rage last Sunday, converting 10-of-11 extra points, and adding four rouge kicks in the game to account for 18 points in the Lions' 85-15 drubbing of the Rage.

A rouge is worth two points, awarded for a kickoff that goes through the uprights on the other end of the field. Wolfe has accounted for four of the nine total in the NAL in the first two weeks of play.

The Lions host the Georgia Firebirds on Sunday. Kickoff is set for 6 pm ET at the Columbus Civic Center.
