COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - It's was a beautiful morning, to get out and run, or even walk. That's what dozens did in Uptown Columbus as part of the Columbus Walk For Life 5K Walk/Run.
The event started at nine this morning at Woodruff Park.
There were free health screenings, vendors, food, and gifts.
Carla Hawkins, an education specialist for LifeLink says she hopes the walk shows the importance of organ donation and how it saves lives."
