Amerigroup provided free pizza from Stevie B's for the event. The focus of the event was to get families get into the system.
"A lot of families after they get diagnosed they don't know where to turn and there isn't really a clear path sometimes on which direction to go and that's where we come in, we're a family support center," said Diane Pope, with the Autism Hope Center of Columbus.
On Saturday, they will be doing another event for Autism called light it up blue which is a 5k fun walk and this event will directly benefit local families. There will also be an Autism resource fair on April 22.
