COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Columbus police need your help locating a person of interest in the hit-and-run incident that claimed the life of 35-year-old Kassie Hollinhead.

Police are trying to locate a black female with a black 2002 Nissan Maxima with an Alabama tag number: 57CD296.

Officials believe 19-year-old Tyquandreshia "Ty" Shambria Williams was the driver of the Nissan Maxima and she is now wanted for questioning.

The incident happened on March 4, 2017, on Martin Luther King Boulevard and Murray Street, when Hollinhead was leaving the Citgo convenience store and was hit by a car on the westbound side. She was then tossed into the opposing traffic lane where she was hit by a second car.

The first car that hit Hollinhead stopped at the scene, but the second vehicle left the scene and 36-year-old Jovonne Williams was later arrested and charged with vehicular homicide.

Later on, the Muscogee County coroner ruled Hollinhead's death accidental, and the vehicular homicide charge was dropped against Jovonne Williams.

It is unknown as to exactly why Tyquandreshia Williams is wanted for questioning.

If anyone knows the whereabouts of "Ty" Williams please call (706) 225-4040.
