Creative South Conference 2017 returns to Uptown Columbus

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Eight hundred creative minds from across the nation and at least four other countries are coming together in the Chattahoochee Valley for a four-day Creative South Conference.

The conference caters to some of the most creative and talented graphic designers, hand letterers, developers, photographers and digital artists.

It kicked off April 7 at the Troy University Riverfront Campus with a kick-off mixer featuring fireworks.

The Creative South Conference organizers say the event provides a chance for creative minds to come together.

Co-Founder of Creative Cloud, Mike Jones, says, "It's awesome. It's non-stop chatter and fellowship. These people are great. It's a good time."

The conference wraps up April 9 with a special class at the Springer Opera House at 10 a.m.

Organizers say the class will inspire you to have no fear in your beliefs.
