COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Today is going to be another warm day with temperatures similar to yesterday. We'll top out in the mid 80s under a mostly sunny sky. As we get into the afternoon we could see a few isolated showers and a few more clouds around - mainly north of Columbus.

This forecast will take us through the work week with temperatures approaching the upper 80s by Thursday.

For the weekend a front will move through increasing our rain coverage for Saturday and Sunday. Sunday has the highest rain chance at 40%.

Temperatures will drastically change by Sunday thanks to this front. Expect highs in the 70s and overnight lows in the low 50s through next Tuesday.

Come see Storm Team 9 at the PX on Fort Benning Wednesday from 11AM - 2PM ET to get a weather radio programmed. You can purchase one there or bring one in to get programmed.
