ALEA investigating officer-involved shooting in Macon County, AL

TUSKEGEE, AL (WTVM) – The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s State Bureau of Investigation is investigating an officer-involved shooting in Macon County.

One suspect was injured in the shooting that involved a Macon County sheriff’s deputy.

The shooting happened Wednesday around 1 p.m. on U.S. Hwy. 80 near Tuskegee, not far from the Brownsville community.

The suspect was taken to the Midtown Medical Center for their injuries.
