RiverBend Park hosts 1st annual Intertribal PowWow

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The Oklevueha Band Of Yamassee Seminoles and Chattahoochee County Parks and Recreation are hosting their 1st Annual PowWow this weekend at RiverBend Park in Cusseta, GA

The PowWow will celebrate the meaning and teachings of traditional Native American heritage. 

The entertainment for the weekend includes authentic Mvskoke hunting and fishing camps, dancers, music, a hand drum competition, and money drawings.

The event for all ages will be in town from April 21-23.

  • Friday 4 p.m. - 9 p.m.
  • Saturday 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. (Military Appreciation Day)
  • Sunday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
